Just Beachy Freebie

Have beach pictures? Scrappy Shannon just designed the coolest beach kit if you like realism, sand, shells, driftwood and stickers. I have been playing a lot of catch-up in doing layouts, especially since the kiddo in this layout just turned 19 on the 6th.

Here is the preview of the entire kit which I hope you enjoy as much as I did. You can find it HERE.

Called Home and Freebie

I worked on a very touching, at least for me, layout today and went through an emotional roller coaster that I guess I was not only unprepared for but didn't realize was still available for poking with a stick.  I was asked to use Scrappy Shannon's kit "Called Home" which deals with loss.  You can find it here at Pretty Scrappy.  I went searching for a picture of my grandmother from before her Alzheimers and Glaucoma and found a few that ran me down memory lane.

Here is the kit and the quickpage I created with it.  I extracted one of the best pictures of her that I remember of her.  It was taken around her 78th birthday and I had to cut my aunt out of the picture.  Of course that isn't because I don't like Aunt Jo, she took care of grandma for longer than I can remember but because Grandma just looks so peaceful and serene.

Precious Petals Freebie

Before I get to my stress relief of scrapbooking, I have a quick update on the drama of being a parent for anyone who actually has read, or cared about my extra grey hairs (and yes, I have read the comments and APPRECIATE them). Josh decided to stay with his girlfriend's mom until Sunday night when Liz had to go back to school. He claimed that becuase I didn't call him, he didn't know what time church was in the morning so he decided not to go. The last 7 years the sunrise service has been at 7am - same time, same place. That was hard to remember I am sure. Anyway, we are working on being able to speak civily to each other at the moment.

Ok - on to why you are here!! Scrappy Shannon released another new kit!!! And again it is adorable. All pinks and greens with fresh flowers and greenery. I love the glitters, flowers and there are so many frames it is beyond easy to use.

Here is the preview, look at all of the different pieces.

You can find the kit here at Pretty Scrappy
Here is page one that will be created from this awesome kit.

And I created a freebie for you as well.

You can download this quickpage HERE.

Please leave me a comment to let me know what you like, what you are looking for and if I am on the right track.

Jitterbug Freebie

This morning I am so excited to share with you another awesome kit that I get to play with, and give a freebie to you from. The designers Stacey Cossley and Scrappy Shannon and Jitterbug is available HERE at Pretty Scrappy.

This is an adorable kit and I just love the colors. As a matter of fact, I have so many uses for this one, be prepared to see layouts using this one for a while to come. Here is one of the pond my husband built for me in the back yard last summer. This year the azalias are blooming, the grapevine has little grapes already showing and the Mexican heather has started to bloom. I can sit out on the swing for hours just soaking up the sun and reading. Of course, today it is in the 40s here in my part of Texas so I am safely inside playing with my scrapkits LOL.

You can click on the image to pick up the quickpage on my 4shared account but only until Wednesday then I have to take it down. It will be available in the Pretty Scrappy store after that. ** Edit: Link removed. If you want these quick pages they are available at the store**

Don't forget to leave a comment either here or at my 4shared page. I would love to see what you put in the empty space :)
