When my birthday party plans crashed and burned my darling husband decided to take me to Galveston for the day without kids. We had an AWESOME day – here are the highlights
Me on my 40th. Yeah, I look a bit different than I did on my 20th but hubby loves me :)
My birthday cake. Have I mentioned that I LOVE CHOCOLATE (of course that is probably why I don’t look like I did when I was 20 – hehe)
We had dinner at Fisherman’s Wharf, which had pretty good fresh seafood. Wayne stayed at the table and paid for dinner while I wandered down the dock to take pictures.
The clipper ship Elyssa. The sails were at full mast because of the commission ceremony of two new tugboats being added to the ship channel fleet.
